NOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT MARA!

Ok so, new Star Wars book and they killed one of my favorite characters Mara, Luke's wife! Why do they have to do crap like this? Already I've had to deal with Chewie and Anakin Solo dying in the Vong war. I mean come on!! Yes I know that this ranting probably makes very little sense to most of you, but I don't care. It totally ruined my day. All I got to say is, they better find a way to bring her back or something big like that. She's too awesome and now Luke's sad and I just can't stand that!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway work is going well. So far all bosses and superiors like me, so all's good there. My sister is getting married in less than two months, so we are all a bit stressed. She's only given us three months in which to plan. Yes, YIKES! But we'll make it happen. Well, that's all for now. I'm gonna finish the last bit of my book and pray that before the series is out Mara is resurrected. I think it's telling that she didn't dissolve into the Force like other jedi powerful like she is. That's the key, I know it. She's in some kind of alternate state or something. Yeah, that's it. That's what I'm gonna believe until the end of the series, which is sometime next year I think. So, you guys will hear a lot about it probably and still have no clue what's going on. =)

Some Rantings and News

Well, first of all my finger is getting better. Still tingles when I type and hurts when it gets hit, but so not as bad as before. Also I have a new job at Target. My first day was yesterday and well, I was rather overwhelmed. Today was better.
Now to the ranting part.
So I was looking at the news things that come up on email and saw a museum is presenting history from a Christian point of view! At last!!!!!! And then one scientist says it's wrong to have because teachers will have to put up with kids coming in and saying stuff like "Teacher, I saw at a museum that such and such was like this not the way you said you're wrong." All I have to say is "have you ever been in a classroom?" I mean really every damn child does that with everything. A museum could say the earth is flat and they'd believe it and argue. Their idiot parents tell them to hit kids back when they get hit and they do it. And they NEVER listen to your different opinion. And if these kids are going to this museum, then they are already being taught this stuff in school so if they're going to insist their teacher's wrong it won't be because of a museum exhibit. These atheist, liberal scientists are making ridiculous arguments to cause trouble and because they don't want their established falsehoods questioned. FREEDOM OF SPEECH guys. That museum in Kansas can say what they want. The Evolution Theory and Big Bang Theory are just that, THEORIES!!!!!! Not fact, just speculation. So scientists guys, back off.

I'm a Dangerous Person

Ok, I'm gonna make this short and sweet since I'm writing with only one and a half hands. I sort of smashed and possibly broke my finger when a door slammed shut on it a couple days ago so no writing for a while. :( I am doing ok, still hurts like hell and makes the last injury seem like a walk in the park though. I'm beginning to think I've either just got bad karma or somebody's got a voodoo doll of me or something.

Revenge of the Sharp Objects

As you might have guessed from the title I have a new injury and more sharp objects to add to my "no touchy" list. This time around it is the inside edge of a large barrel being made into a deer feeder. While helping my father get his new feeder set up I managed to get very greasy from the inside of it and then when we went to turn it upside down (me with two crescent wrenches in one hand) I found out how sharp the inside rim was. Lets just say if I hadn't dropped it when I did I would have sliced my thumb right to the bone. Lots and lots and lots of blood. Oh and it hurt like hell when I washed it. And yes as you can guess, I am using band aids as makeshift stitches because hey I don't like needles and stitches and hospitals. My dad really wanted to take me to the hospital to get it stitched up but I wouldn't let him. It still hurts though. And I have several smaller cuts on my other fingers and knuckles on both hands. My dad was like, "Oh yeah, it's sharp." Gee thanks for the warning after I slit myself up, gushing blood, and doing some heavy duty cursing. Apparently the big gash on the back of his hand was caused by the same thing. You'd think he'd warn me before I try moving it. He just better be careful when putting corn in there. That could get painful. So yeah, the new deer feeder gets added to the broken beakers, scissors, and razor blades list of things I must avoid if possible.

Long Over Due Updates

Well hello! No, I did not drop off the face of the earth. I just got a tad bit busy. Liz's wedding was beautiful! Although I did had to see the jerk from a few previous posts that turned out to be the embodiment of the saying too good to be true. Yeah, he decided to be a jackass. We had to dance with our groomsmen (no he wasn't mine-thank God) but the girl he had was shall we say very large and while nice not that pretty but very well endowed in the chest area. He pretty much ignored her until they danced and he got a nice aerial view of her assets. Can you believe~ he dedicated a song to her and was all "gentlemanly and nice" to her from that point on. Although he did whistle and ogle the tall skinny DRUNK off her ass blond who mowed over everyone to catch the bouquet. Anyway, all I could do was laugh at him. It was rather pathetic. And why is he trying to make me jealous? Shouldn't it be the other way around since he ended it? Whatever, I've moved on to trying for my totally gorgeous pharmacist guy. Yeah, I've been going to Walgreens a lot. I've also applied to several different jobs both in the area and in different places farther away. Much farther. Still a sub though and tomorrow it will be the worst four year old class of the three there. The last two days I've had 1st grade, and that's like having four year olds. That class and the one tomorrow are the ones everyone dreads and says "Ohhh, them. Yeah, have fun." I just came home today and crashed in my bed for a couple of hours. Well, I better go now and I'll try to keep this updated.

It's the Holiday Season

Happy New Year everyone! Did you all catch the totally awesome Rose Parade this morning? I loved the Star Wars part of course. I wish I could just have the Ewok float parked in my backyard. It was so cool. Anyway, sorry I haven't kept up with this recently. I've been busy getting the house prepared for our annual Christmas party and this is really the first chance I've had to sit down and write. Work is going well with a pretty regular schedule. I am still eagerly looking for a different job though. Teaching full time just isn't for me. Lots of things have gotten put on hold that I've been meaning to do with the holidays getting in the way, but now that the holiday season is coming to an end hopefully I will stop procrastinating and get back on with the things I need and want to do. Like getting in good shape so I look good in a bridesmaid dress. ~disgusted sigh~ Actually the dress is really pretty so I shouldn't complain. It could be a lot worse.
Well, I'm going to end this here. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone!

Last Night Panick

Well, last night Hermoine coughed up a worm, yes a worm everyone and some blood. Needless to say I was more than a little worried, well I was down right panicked. I got on the internet to see if I could figure out what the nasty little thing was and determined that it was a roundworm. So today I did not go to work but instead took my baby to the vet at the earliest appointment they had available. I am happy to report that after giving her several doses over the next several weeks of medicine that the vet gave me, Hermoine will be ok. The doctor gave her a clean bill of health otherwise and said it was common and not life threatening. She also gave me enough medicine to treat the other two, just in case. So that scare is over. Whew! On the way back home I saw a Barbie pink mustang. I'm sorry, but OMG! Do you actually go to a dealer and say "Like, oh my ga, can you like get this like in Barbie pink? Like can ya?" I mean that's all I think when I see something like that. I know, that's mean, but I can't help it. Anyway, getting much better with the whole guy thing, now I'm just mad. Like, kick him in the balls mad. Lord, he better stay outta my way. But today, finally was the first day in a month I didn't have my same little third grade class. The teacher felt she was fully prepared to take them all day today. It wasn't that they were horrible, I was just getting tired of it. Tomorrow I have sixth grade at the same school. And it's Wednesday so that means cheese burgers. Yes, I'm one of those weirdos that likes school hamburgers. Most of the other teachers think I'm crazy. Writing is going very well also. I'm finally getting all my scribblings into the computer and sending them to my sister to read. And good luck to her! So now that my cat is going to be ok, I've done my shopping therapy, things are definitely looking up!
